About Rahul

As the Finance Director at Peninsula Real Estate, Rahul is primarily responsible for supporting both the COO & CFO in planning and controlling all of the Group’s operational and financial related activities. He is also tasked with driving efficiencies, enhancing controls and leading engagements with external stakeholders.

Prior to joining Peninsula, Rahul spent 11 years working in Banking and Financial Services in the UK & Dubai with experience from  a leading investment bank and a global commodities brokerage.

Rahul joined Credit Suisse in 2010 as part of the Product Control team. In his role he focused on the P&L generation from Credit Suisse’s structured derivatives trading desk. This included leading a worldwide risk-based P&L buildout, offshoring roles to Poland & India and managing large teams in 3 locations to ensure accurate and timely delivery of results.

In 2016, Rahul moved to ED&F Man where he was given a remit to streamline and improve efficiencies in the brokerage teams, as well as to develop and maintain a bridge between the finance function and the brokers. In 2018, Rahul moved to Dubai to manage the finance function of their Dubai office due to growth in the region.
