About Alexandra

Alex joined Peninsula in 2020 and is the Executive Assistant to the CEO and General Office Manager. Alex is responsible for the overall smooth and efficient running of the organization.

Alex brings over 18 years experience both in the UK and UAE working in investment banking EA and support roles, most notably with Barclays Bank, Atlas Mara, Nomura MENA and Goldman Sachs. She moved from London to the UAE in 2007 with Barclays Bank to support the Head of IB; and then continued to support the same individual when he was appointed CEO of the MENA region in 2009. She then moved to perform the same role at Atlas Mara, a financial services holding company formed to acquire various target banks in Africa. Her final two positions before joining Peninsula were to support the Executive Chairman at Nomura MENA and investment banking team at Goldman Sachs. Both positions were based in Dubai.

Alex holds a BSc (Hons) in Health and Sports Studies from the University of Huddersfield.
